Hello!
Today I will tell you about my experience with the English language. Since I was a child I never liked the English course and this was maintained even in high school, but over the years I realised that as a professional it is a requirement that can open many doors in the world of work. Also, as it is a universal language, it can be useful for travelling.
When I entered the FAU, I didn't want to take English courses because I never liked English classes haha but I had to do the course anyway and in general it's not something that bothers me, the teachers are very good. Something that stands out from the teaching of this language at the university, is that the teachers ask us to do blogs with different topics each class and I think that has been very useful for me because personally I'm not much of a classroom learner but I'm better at learning it as I can write it down.
What I find most difficult about this language is definitely speaking it, although I can read articles in English and I am learning to write it, it has always been difficult for me to speak it, I think the best thing for me would be to have the option of interacting with people who speak the language perfectly or are from countries whose language is English.
Outside of English class, I use English when I read articles that are only in English. Also when I listen to music I look up the lyrics and see the translation and when I have time and I watch series in English, I try to understand the dialogues without using the subtitles and in this way I become familiar with the language.
Bye, see you!
