 Hi! Today tell you about an architect that i like so much, Shigeru Ban.

Shigeru Ban is a japanese architect born in tokyo in 1967. Since out at a young has excelled in the arts getting their licenciature in 1984. In 1985 abre its study of architecture "Shigeru Ban Architects" and performs as teacher in the faculty of architecture of the Yokohama National University and the Nihon University. He is also a visiting professor in the Columbia University and since 2011 is a teacher in the University of Art and Design of Tokyo. Shigeru Ban is recognised for his work with materials such paper, cardboard and bamboo in the construction of temporary structures in support of victims at the naturals disasters creating a foundation in 1995 not for profit "VAN" (Voluntary architects network) that is concerned that help to comunnity affected by naturals disaster through construction that function as temporary shelters, comunnity centres and spirituals centres. In the same year he won the prize "Architecture for Humanity" for the construction of Le Paper Log House in reaction to the earthquake at that time. Thanks for it and their colaboration in this type of situations, it is awarded the prize Pritzker in 2014.

By of his work as an architect and his innovation in the use of materials in construction he became one of my favourites.
